Week 16
This week has drawn out some amazing discoveries and ah ‘ha moments, I have been in progression mode, last Friday I did 500 steps on my stepping machine, the next day 1008, after that 1330, then a 3 mile walk to the store to pick up 14 rock stars, I didn’t plan to walk 3 miles it just happened, I did plan the way I wanted to walk there and back home, but I didn’t know it was 3 miles. I tried to talk myself out of walking and just driving there it would have been easier that way.
What do you really get out of doing things the easy way, or what is familiar to you the same shit sandwich, no growth, the same old, same old, life gets boring, it may seem less painful, but my old peptides were telling me if you do this, you’re going to have breathing challenges, and exercise is painful all the negative emotions behind those thoughts?
What stops you from getting things done?
The time kept getting later and later in the day are you going to walk or not?????
The answer in my head said a LOUD NO!!!
Oh, REALLY with my defiant spirit in me, fighting myself, I grabbed my bag to carry the Rock Star grabbed my house keys and garage door opener passed the car shut the garage door and started walking down the street.

My body was in shock, my thoughts: What do you think you are doing? You have been driving everywhere for decades!!! Stop, go back home and get the Car that’s the easy way. Yes, it is and today we are doing it a different way, shut up and keep going.
Note: To Change things you must do something different than what you are accustomed to doing day after day
I turned on my MKE lesson, I played it twice, I played the scroll message twice, the self -confidence one, the gal in the glass once, and flashed through my gratitude and success cards as I took my 3-mile journey.

Upon returning home I mapped my walk and reflected on the journey, when I started to panic, I took deep breaths, drank some water and paused for a min and continued listening to what I imagine my future. I reframed my thoughts creating new habits, looking for green triangles, red circles, yellow squares. and blue rectangles. just seeing the COLORS.
I just placed the shapes and connected those to my vision.
When we are in fear, the reaction is fight, flight, or freeze and nothing is ever created except more of the same. throughout my life it has been that way always fighting to survive, I don’t think I am alone in this, as many of us are in survival mode and not thriving mode, this is the way we have been programed to react to our everyday situation to be controlled by others, We have the power to take back control of how we decide and choose our life to be, opinions are people thinking they are helping and just wanting you to be safe and wishing the best for you.
Is that opinion serving you or hurting you? only allow things in that are serving you. Let all else go.
So, how does the every seven year change applies to you?

There are things that happen or we experience in or life which has us change one or more things in our life, could be a death in the family, car or some form of accident that kind of gives us a wake- up call saying we are playing to small in life and it’s time to grow. So we start something new, here is the thing, this new thing we start, we expect to be perfect out of the gate and give a lot of negative feedback to ourselves and stop because we never gave ourselves a chance to succeed.
We are starting something new, we are in the infant stage, nurture the growth. The child stage nurture it. Young adult still nurture it and these stages are a 7 year growth state not just 2 mins and you have to have your shit together or you’re a failure. You make adjustments along the way releasing what isn’t working and always living the best version of you, compare yourself to who you were yesterday and who you are becoming today.
Know that if you complain about how things are going and never take action on changing what you don’t like it will continue to be what you are complaining about.
Focus on what you want make a plain and put that plain into daily action and you get the result you imagine, we over think things and sit back thinking we don’t have to do the work, there is no such thing as something for nothing. Pay the price do the work and you see the results of your work and labor.
Do Nothing and those are the results
It matters the company you keep, what they think, the habits they have and the environment around you. Design, and live the life you love and imagine. You are the creator of your reality, Keep Shining Bright!!!
